Download past patron data into a spreadsheet
Then use an external tool (e.g, ConstantContact, MailChimp) to send marketing emails to past patrons
Click the +chron Orders by purchase date report in the Reports panel of the Dashboard.
There are two ways to limit the list of patron records to be downloaded before you initiate the download:
- By the date of the performance they attended: Use the two date fields at the top of the report.
- By the name of the performance they attended: Type the desired production name into the for events matching field at top. You don’t have to type the full name, just enough to distinguish it from other productions.
Then click the Download link in the bar so you can transfer the information to a spreadsheet. The resulting downloaded file will be in .CSV format, which can be uploaded into all common spreadsheets.
Once you’ve uploaded the file into the spreadsheet of your choice, these are the fields or columns you may want to use to filter patron records:
- Zip code
- Event (Production name)
- Donation (true when the order includes a donation, otherwise false)
- Dollar amount or the order.
Then follow the instructions from your external tool for how to get the records from the spreadsheet and into that tool.
